Heroes of SVPITSM 2017

Last year, we had visited the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International school of Textiles and Management, at Coimbatore. Please read about our visit here – The “textile” trail – SVP International school of Textiles & Management. We had sponsored 5 brilliant students last year – Kalanandhini, Sathish, Sujay, Rohit and Safalya all of them pursuing their PGDM course at the SVP Institute of textiles and management, Coimbatore. The update is all five of them are placed in good jobs !!

This year the SVP International School of Textiles & Management has launched a graduate program, B.Sc in Textiles. We asked the director of the school, Dr. Ramesh Kumar to share the profiles of a few students who needed a scholarship and he shared four profiles – Mubashir, Sathiya, Deepika and Ezhil Jothi. We immediately agreed to support these students and their first semester fees has already been paid.

ShikshaDaan would like to thank Vikas and Hareesh for their sponsorship to these four students. Am sure these students will also find better employment with the B.Sc Textiles degree and they will help their families to move forward.

So thrilled to make a difference… our whole purpose of setting up ShikshaDaan was exactly to do this.
