Keeping in mind the ambitious and audacious goals that we have set for ShikshaDaan, we the co-founders thought that it is an imperative for our Foundation to be supported, advised and guided by experts from a range of domains. To that end, a strong and effective advisory council called “MargaDarshis” got constituted for ShikshaDaan. While the MargaDarshis may not be a formal or legal entity, members of the council, by virtue of their vast experience and expertise in diverse fields, have tremendous contributions to make. Also, the MargaDarshis are a set of individuals who bring unique knowledge and skills that complement those of the trustees of the Foundation.
Ways by which the MargaDarshis support ShikshaDaan are:
They are a sounding board to discuss ideas and suggestions that will help us realize our vision, mission and goals
The advisory council ensures ShikshaDaan stays aligned to our values, transparency and accountability framework
The council helps ShikshaDaan to reach out and access a much larger network of stakeholders through collaborative partnerships and alliances, in both the domestic and international markets.
The advisory council members represent, promote and advocate ShikshaDaan, and its vision, mission and goals, in appropriate and relevant platforms to enhance visibility and credibility
